The school is seeking to appoint an innovative, enthusiastic Finance Officer with good interpersonal and organisational skills, to commence as soon as possible. The Finance Officer will be responsible for managing and overseeing the school finances. The position is part time permanent; consisting of 3 days over a fortnight.

          The selected applicant should be a Christian actively engaged in church life and have:

  • Experience in MYOB to Trial balance and BAS
  •  Knowledge in working with 30 day accounts reconciliation
  • Responsibility for maintaining accurate financial records for Government and internal reporting
  • Responsibility for payroll, for up to 15 staff per fortnight-Maze experience preferred but  not essential
  • Responsibility for Superannuation and PAYG reporting
  •  Professional and friendly demeanour
  • The ability to work independently and to use initiative
  • Knowledge of cash management

EMPLOYMENT GUIDELINES

If you are applying for the position of a classroom teacher you would mainly be responsible for the education of the students in your care. All staff take responsibility for nurturing and caring for all the students in the school.  Staff  are expected to counsel, guide and support the students and families within our school community.
